The vamp is padded Black vinyl.
Soft, durable non-skid rubber on the front and back of the shoe to keep you on your feet. These shoes are made from 2 pieces of wood. We do our very best to make sure that the 2 pieces match as closely as possible, but due to the inherent differences in the natural wood there will be some variance in the coloration.

How do they fit?
~This new style fits quite true to US sizing in both width and length.
~If your feet are very narrow in width, please size down. If your feet are narrow-to-medium in width, order your usual size. If your feet are medium-to-wide in width, please size up.
~The toe strap is sturdy leather that really hugs the front of your foot. The ankle strap holds the rest of your foot in place securely.
~The wood heel is beautifully hand-carved and sturdy, yet the wood itself is surprisingly light-weight. Â
~The footbed is cushioned with 3 layers of padding for extra comfort.
